Our Founder

City Wholesale Liquor was founded in New Orleans by Joseph Maselli in 1950. Towards the end of World War II, Maselli was stationed at Camp Plauche near New Orleans. There he met and married his wife Antoinette. After attending college on the GI Bill, he started City Wholesale Liquor. Maselli worked tirelessly, seven days a week, to build City Wholesale from the ground up, while Antoinette took care of their four children. He remained deeply committed and worked diligently until his passing in 2009. The second and third generations are now operating City Wholesale Liquor in the tradition of Joseph Maselli: customer service as its first priority.

We're located in the heart of New Orleans if you would like to pick up. Come and see us during business hours, even if it's just for one bottle! Delivery is also available everyday.

How to Set Up an Account

You may create an account online or in person. We will need a copy of your Louisiana ATC License and your Resale Certificate. We accept Cash, Credit and Debit cards, Checks (prior approval necessary), ACH payments and Fintech payments. Due to LA state law, beer must be paid for upon delivery with cash, check or debit cards only.
